Thrive Nursery Takes Delivery of the All-New Kubota SVL110-3
Mike Dunn of Thrive Nursery recently accepted delivery of an all-new Kubota SVL110-3HFCC compact track loader.
Nursery work can require a machine to handle everything from moving soil and bulk materials to loading trucks, preparing sites and operating demanding hydraulic attachments. Therefore, adding a larger, high-flow compact track loader gives the Thrive Nursery team even more capability for its daily workload.
The SVL110-3 represents the newest generation of Kubota compact track loaders. Mike’s machine combines the capacity of Kubota’s large-frame platform with an enclosed cab and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics. As a result, it is ready to support both heavy material handling and attachment-driven work.
More importantly, the machine gives Thrive Nursery the versatility to move between jobs without sacrificing operator comfort or productivity.

The crew recently picked up both a Kubota SCL1000 stand-on compact loader and an all-new Kubota SVL65-2s compact track loader. Together, the machines provide two different levels of size, capacity and jobsite versatility.
The Kubota SCL1000 brings impressive capability to areas where access is limited. Its narrow 36-inch overall width allows it to pass through many standard gates, while its wide tracks help reduce ground pressure on lawns and landscaped surfaces. It also offers a 1,000-pound rated operating capacity and 15-gallon-per-minute auxiliary hydraulic flow.
That makes it a useful addition for landscaping, cleanup, material handling and attachment work in confined spaces.
More Capacity and Comfort with the SVL65-2s
When Dirt Done Right needs more lifting capacity, traction and all-day production, the new SVL65-2s is ready to step in.
The SVL65-2s builds on Kubota’s proven compact track loader platform with updated technology and operator-focused features. It retains a 68.4-horsepower Kubota engine and a 2,100-pound rated operating capacity while offering available high-flow auxiliary hydraulics for demanding attachments.
Equipped with an enclosed cab, this machine gives the Dirt Done Right crew a comfortable and productive place to work through changing Utah conditions.
Adding both machines allows the company to match the equipment more closely to each project. The SCL1000 can handle narrow-access work, while the SVL65-2s provides the additional power and capacity needed for larger jobs.

George Katz Takes Home a Kubota K008-5
George Katz is also ready to start digging with his new Kubota K008-5 ultra-compact excavator.
The Kubota K008-5 is built for projects where space is limited but a shovel simply will not get the job done. Its compact design makes it well suited for residential landscaping, utility work, trenching and projects around existing structures.
Although it is Kubota’s smallest excavator, the K008-5 delivers a digging depth of approximately 5 feet 8 inches and a bucket breakout force of 2,205 pounds. It also features two-speed travel and a 10.3-horsepower Kubota diesel engine.
George’s machine also includes a mechanical quick coupler, making bucket changes more convenient as project requirements change.
